The Cochran City Auditorium located at 102 N. Second Street in Cochran, may be rented for events such as beauty pageants, band concerts, choir recitals, plays, etc. The cost is $150.00 ($100 rent and a refundable $50 deposit). The 2009 BIKING BLECKLEY Metric 100 Last Saturday in February
Biking Bleckley Metric 100is an annual event which takes place on the last Saturday in February. Supported with MAPS, refreshment breaks, and local law enforcement. All roads are in very good condition and are flat to moderate rolling hills. The Metric 100 is a big loop with other routes branching off and heading back to the start.

holds an annual meeting in Cochran each year in March. The SECC is a family oriented club that is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of vintage Cushman motor scooters. Stop by the Bleckley County Recreation Department for the Show Scooter Competition and Judging!
